The Trust works across multiple levels of the rural arts ecosystem. Current initiatives include:
Rural Arts
Partners Program:
multi-year, project support for a leadership cohort of Vermont artist and community-based organizations
Rural Arts
Activation Fund:
responsive funding for community-driven cultural activation
Grants to Vermont
Performing Artists:
program investment in the Vermont Arts Council (VAC) to develop and mobilize new work through VAC Creation Grants.
By investing across these constituencies, the Trust aims to demonstrate how creative practice can strengthen rural communities and catalyze meaningful, locally rooted change.
